CR Coffee opened its third location at 603½ Metairie Road in Old Metairie, bringing Coast Roast coffee to the suburbs for the first time. The cozy storefront features hand-painted window art and the same quality that built the brand at St. Roch Market and Magazine Street.
Old Metairie is a different neighborhood than the Marigny or the Garden District, and the shop reflects that. It serves the morning commuter crowd, the weekend regulars, and everyone in between. All three Coast Roast blends are brewed daily — Streetcar, French Roast, and Roch Blend — along with the full espresso menu.
The Metairie location also carries Coast Roast bags for home brewing and seasonal drinks alongside the regular menu. During king cake season, Nonna Randazzo's cakes are stacked and ready.
With three locations — St. Roch Market, Magazine Street, and Old Metairie — CR Coffee now serves New Orleans proper and the surrounding suburbs. The Metairie shop runs Monday through Friday 6am to 7pm, weekends 7am to 7pm.
